  • How long is the Point Church service?

    Our services are about 60 minutes in length. We work hard to make it the best hour of your week.


    In-Person: Come a few minutes early to grab a cup of coffee from our Overflow Coffee Stop and drop the kids off at KidsPoint downstairs.


    Online: You can preview our messages and get a sneak peek of what goes on at The Point by visiting our YouTube channel or simply going to the ON|Demand section of our website.

  • What’s the culture like at the Point Church?

    Sundays at The Point are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

  • What do you offer for my kids?

    Children, from birth through Grade 5 get to enjoy KidsPoint. We not only love kids, but kids love The Point Church. We've got incredible programs during our Sunday morning services.


    Nursery (birth-age 2)

    We want to love on you the parent, by loving on your kid in a loving daycare atmosphere.


    Preschool (3-5 yr olds)

    We strive to give kids their first look at their Heavenly Father with our clubhouse mascot Ollie the owl in this hands on play style program


    Elementary (grade K-5)

    We emphasize wonder, discovery and passion in our program as we help kids by inspiring them to have a deeper faith and help each kid apply God's truth to their lives.

  • What do you offer teenagers?

    ONEIGHTY (Tuesday 6:30-8:30) program exists to help students (grade 6-10) take steps in discovering God.


    ONEIGHTY GROUPS (weekly) exists to help students (grade 11-12) take steps in owning their faith in homes throughout Miramichi with volunteers. With casual environments using relevant video teaching and personal discussion we believe that we will be able to help students navigate this world with a firm foundation of who Jesus sees them as.

  • What can I expect as a first-time guest?

    You'll be greeted by some friendly people and be offered a cup of hot coffee ($1 donation - proceeds go to our Dominican Republic Mission).


    A typical Sunday service consists of 60 minutes of inspiration. It will feel a lot more like a wedding reception than a formal ceremony or traditional ritual. You won't need to know what to say, any secret signs, or things to recite.


    There will be some music, some videos, a practical message full of hope, and often a couple of other surprises to keep things interesting all with the goal of helping you discover God and then equipping you to own your faith.

  • Is your church accessible?

    Our main entrance is wheelchair accessible and we have a staffed elevator to access either floor.

  • What denomination is the church affiliated with?

    The Point Church is a member of the Canadian Baptists of Atlantic Canada. To find out more about our CBAC family, visit their website.

  • What kind of music do you play during your services?

    We use music to worship and inspire. You’ll hear a variety of music at The Point Church - everything from familiar hymns to modern worship music. From time to time, you’ll hear familiar radio songs that connect with the message we’re presenting.

  • Does it cost money to attend?

    There is no obligation from us to give, but those who call The Point Church home give to God through the church to help us bring a message of hope to our communities and beyond. If you would like to partner with us, visit our GIVE page.

  • Am I welcome if I’m a different religion or denomination?

    Absolutely! We have a lot of people who join us each week who grew up in different religions and denominations or who have no religious background or beliefs whatsoever. We have people who grew up Jewish, Catholic, Presbyterian, Pentecostal, United, etc. Everyone is welcome!

  • Can I talk to a pastor?

    If you have any other questions or simply want to talk to a pastor, we’re on the other end of this line and are eager to chat with you.
